If you have reached crisis point and are in need of help then there are several options for you.
If you have already done something to hurt yourself, or feel very close to doing so then please speak to someone.
Reaching out for help can be scary but you can do it.
There are a few options:
You could speak to somene you trust.
You could call 999 or 111.
If you have taken an overdose then please call 999 or get yourself to A&E as soon as possible. The sooner you get help, the better your chance of recovery.
If you feel like you’re very close to doing something to hurt yourself seriously and you can’t speak to someone, please call 111 or go to A&E.
The people on the phone can help you to choose the right help to get. A&E will help you to keep safe and they will get you an assessment and hopefully the support that you need to not reach this point in the future.
Another option is to call the Samaritans. They offer non-judgemental support to anyone who wants to talk. It’s not necessary to call them when you’re suicidal. They are there for anyone who needs them.
